Saturday, May 14, 2022 - An Intimate In-Person Gathering or Virtually – As You Wish!
Your presence is requested at one of our SIX intimate house parties, located in the greater Baltimore area, hosted by Chase Brexton’s loyal and royal supporters. Sip the finest of cocktails, relish the most delicious of delicacies, and enjoy House of Tudor-worthy entertainment at Chase Brexton Health Care’s signature biennial event.
This royally unique gala is inspired by the Broadway musical SIX, a modern reimagining in which Henry the VIII’s six wives redesign their destinies, eclipse the patriarchy, proclaim their liberation, and embrace equity!
Just like SIX, our gala is a far cry from the same old story.
Prepare yourselves for an evening that redefines the galas of old.
All are welcome. Virtual registrations are unlimited and free! Royal Tudor inspired costumes and black-tie attire are encouraged; otherwise, cocktail attire is nobly suitable.
Proceeds will support two of Chase Brexton’s newest community programs:
As food insecurity has increased, Chase Brexton has responded. Our newest project, the Every Meal Matters program was established to provide healthy, nonperishable boxed food to our patients, no matter what the reason. Every $40 raised adds a week’s worth of supplemental food to the pantry of a family of four.
The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Center of Excellence is Chase Brexton’s response to the reality that as we grow, we must be more cognizant of our impact on society. The majority of our patients and staff are negatively impacted by systemic racism and social discrimination.
Created by our staff and supported by the Board of Directors, this Center and its work is a pursuit of systemic change. Staff training to understand, recognize, and address biases and inequities will enable us to providepatient-centered, culturally competent care at a higher level. In line with our mission, being better able to connect with our patients, address their needs, and be their allies, the DEI Center will reduce health inequities and drastically improve our communities.
