Where Will You Hang Your Crown?

Saturday, May 14, 2022: An Intimate In-Person Gathering or Virtually – As You Wish!

This royally unique gala is inspired by the Broadway musical SIX, a modern reimagining in which Henry the VIII’s six wives redesign their destinies, eclipse the patriarchy, proclaim their liberation, and embrace equity!

Your presence is requested at one of our SIX castles, and you get to choose which one you want to attend.   The castles, as we are calling them, are the private homes of some of our most loyal supporters, and are located in the communities that Chase Brexton serves.

Check out information on our castle venues below:

Catherine of Aragon Castle (Howard County) - Limited Space (4.29)

Hosted by Sanjeev and Leena Dev, this castle is located in the rolling hills of Howard County where guests will enjoy a professionally prepared multi-course Indian dinner, accompanied by specialty cocktails, a telescope observation station, live music, and dancing. The party will extend indoors and outdoors on an expansive patio with a koi pond and mini waterfalls. It’s said that Catherine had a particular fondness for gold embellishments, so we’d like to see you in your best gold and purple attire. Recommended dress is fun formal.

Anne Boleyn Castle (Eastern Shore) - Limited Space (4.29)

Hosted by Jamie Merida and Vincent Bochin, this castle is nestled on the banks of the Choptank River. This castle guarantees a fun, relaxing evening filled with music, laughter and, for dessert, handmade French eclairs. Emerald is this castle's gemstone, so wear a bit of green (or break out your emeralds, if you have them). The recommended attire is spring business casual.
Hang Your Crown Here!

Jane Seymour Castle (Baltimore County)

Hosted by Mark Foster, Founder & President of Second Chance, a nonprofit dedicated to giving people, materials, and the environment a second chance. This party will be hosted at the organization’s Concept House, where everything from flooring to furnishings has been given a second chance and every room has a story to tell. The suggested attire? Give something in your wardrobe a second chance - whether it’s a ballgown, a bridesmaid dress, or another piece that deserves to be celebrated. Note: Get creative with your footwear! This castle's floors are made of salvaged, celebrated wood (Jane Seymour would be so proud) and our hosts encourage you to wear flats or blocked heels for your comfort and the floors' protection. Avoid pointy heels or stilettoes.

Anne of Cleves Castle (Potomac, Md.)

Hosted by Mahro Ershadi and Mo Ghorbanpour, this castle will be celebrating the dignified Anne of Cleves, who was anything but a little ole’ housewife. Are you thinking, “That’s quite a trek”? Our recommendation: splurge and treat yo’ self by making a weekend out of it in our Nation’s Capital, and on Saturday, put on your most fabulous ruby-red cocktail attire to enjoy music, twinkling lights around the pool, and a sunset on the property’s pond.
Hang Your Crown Here!

Catherine Howard Castle (Anne Arundel County)

Hosted by Jennifer Navabi, Paulo Fernandes and Annapolis’ mayor, Gavin Buckley, this castle fete will take place at a beautiful home located on Weems Creek. If you choose to hang your crown here, come dressed in your best, preppy pink for a Chesapeake Bay-inspired party, befitting of a Queen.
Hang Your Crown Here!
