"I have been an Infectious Disease physician for ten years and have done many exciting things after my training. I was able to teach trainees in my first job in New York. Then I treated patients with and trained providers in care for patients with HIV and Tuberculosis in Kenya, Cambodia and Uganda working for Doctors without Borders. Following that, I was able to treat patients with general infectious diseases in Indiana and Pennsylvania before coming to Maryland.
A few years ago, a new opportunity brought me to Baltimore, working at a community hospital’s Infectious Diseases division, but farther from home than I wanted. Recently I decided it was time to serve the community in Baltimore closer to where I live. The patients and staff of Chase Brexton are part of my community, and from what I know of this organization, it is a perfect long term match for me. I look forward to learn valuable lessons from the staff and patients. My hope is that I can bring together all the experience I have gained in my last ten years in practice all over the globe to give back to my neighbors – all of you."
