Proceeds will support two of Chase Brexton's newest community programs:
As food insecurity has increased, Chase Brexton has responded. Our newest project, the Every Meal Matters program was established to provide healthy, nonperishable boxed food to our patients, no matter what the reason. Every $40 raised adds a week’s worth of supplemental food to the pantry of a family of four.
The Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Center of Excellence is Chase Brexton’s response to the reality that as we grow, we must be more cognizant of our impact on society. The majority of our patients and staff are negatively impacted by systemic racism and social discrimination.
Created by our staff and supported by the Board of Directors, this Center and its work is a pursuit of systemic change. Staff training to understand, recognize, and address biases and inequities will enable us to providepatient-centered, culturally competent care at a higher level. In line with our mission, being better able to connect with our patients, address their needs, and be their allies, the EDI Center will reduce health inequities and drastically improve our communities.
