(10/21/22) Chase Brexton Health Care will continue to provide quality, affordable to patients in need with the support of a recent $100,000 grant from the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation.

The funding will support Chase Brexton’s dental services at its Mt. Vernon, Columbia, Glen Burnie, and Randallstown Centers.

“The continued support of the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation will make a tremendous difference for the patients we serve,” said Dr. Brooks Woodward DDS, Director of Dental Services for Chase Brexton. “This grant will further the life-changing care we provide, and help us put smiles on even more of our patients’ faces.”

In Fiscal Year 2021, Chase Brexton Health Care’s dental services saw 11,215 patient visits. Overall, 96 percent of Chase Brexton patients live at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level, and 71 percent of patients live at 100 percent or less of that level. Among all uses of the Hope Lives Here patient assistance fund, dental care and needs were the third-largest area of demand, with $21,623 in support distributed for those needs in FY 2021.

The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation partners with local communities to increase access to care, support dental education, and fund research that advances the oral health field. Since 2011, the Foundation has awarded more than $60 million across 15 states and the District of Columbia. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Delta Dental of California and its affiliated companies, including Delta Dental Insurance Company, Delta Dental of Pennsylvania and Delta Dental of New York, Inc.
