Chase Brexton Health Care’s ongoing efforts to diagnose and treat COVID-19, as well as its continued care for individuals living with HIV, will be boosted by a recent $25,000 grant from Broadway Cares.

The funds provided by the organization’s Emergency Grant for Pandemic Relief will be used to support patients with immediate needs, whether those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, or those living with HIV or AIDS.

Amid the ongoing pandemic, the grant was made possible through increased corporate support and gracious Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS donors, according to Broadway Cares Executive Director Tom Viola.

“I am thrilled that we are able to make this unexpected award,” said Viola. “Thank you for continuing to do your vital work, especially during this challenging time.”

Established in 1987, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is one of the nation’s leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. The organization helps men, women and children across the country and across the street receive lifesaving medications, health care, nutritious meals, counseling and emergency financial assistance.
