Nate Sweeney serves as the Executive Director of the LGBT Resource Center at Chase Brexton Healthcare, “We as allies to the Trans community are infuriated,” he says.
Sweeney says the costs the President cites are unsubstantiated, “It would be 0.13% of their overall budget in order to provide healthcare to transgender folks.” Sweeney says, “That should not be how this decision is being made.”
