In-person assistance available by appointment and during Walk-In Wednesdays through Jan. 31
BALTIMORE (November 17, 2015) - Open enrollment for health insurance through Maryland Health Connection, the state's health insurance marketplace, is underway and Chase Brexton Health Care wants to ensure all individuals have access to high-quality health care and to the health insurance coverage they need.
Chase Brexton patients may receive in-person assistance at all six of our Centers by calling (443) 573-5000; they will be linked to a certified staff member who will schedule an appointment for assistance. Patients are also welcome to receive assistance during Chase Brexton's Walk-In Wednesdays, each Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"Chase Brexton is honored to have helped more than 2,000 individuals receive increased access to healthcare as a result of the Affordable Care Act," said Christine Endler, Case Management and Outreach Department manager. "We know that the ACA is making a huge impact and encourage anyone with questions to give us a call or stop in."
In addition, more than 1,500 trained experts are available across Maryland to provide free enrollment assistance. A list of "connector entity" (regional consumer assistance) offices and hours can be found on MarylandHealthConnection.gov as well as searchable tools to locate participating brokers and navigators nearest you.
