04/25/13 - Maryland Health Connection: Maryland launches health insurance consumer assistance program

HealthCare Access Maryland will receive an anticipated $7.9 million in grant funding to provide education, outreach, and eligibility, and enrollment services for the nearly 217,000 uninsured residents in the counties it serves. The intent of the regional approach is to ensure that all populations are reached including those with Limited English Proficiency, disabilities or those that may be in underserved communities. HCAM has developed a collaborative approach with 17 subcontracting partners to provide services, including Chase Brexton Health Services.

03/06/13 - The Washington Blade: San Fran paper makes good on Super Bowl bet

The publisher of Bay Area Reporter, an LGBT newspaper in San Francisco, made good on a Super Bowl bet with the Washington Blade last week, contributing $1,000 to Baltimore’s Chase Brexton Health Services.

Chase Brexton Health Services Inc. has attracted attention since its June 2011 acquisition of the Monumental Life building in Mount Vernon.  But as Chase Brexton begins moving into 1111 N. Charles St. during the coming weeks, the nonprofit community health center wants to be known for much more than a prominent new headquarters.
