Baltimore (May 1, 2024) – Chase Brexton’s 2024 gala, “Ritz & Razzmatazz,” succeeded in raising more than $370,000 to support services for uninsured and under-resourced patients at the community health care provider’s new Security Square Center.

The gala, held March 30 at the Baltimore Museum of Art, was themed around a celebrating of “the new Roaring ‘20s” and played host to more than 200 attendees—many of whom were dressed to the nines in their finest flapper- and Gatsby-inspired styles.

“This was a milestone—we raised more funds than any other special event in our organization’s history,” said Alexa Milanytch, Director of Development for Chase Brexton. “It was made possible thanks to the community who gathered because of our very special mission to increase access to healthcare for all. Six hospital systems—Johns Hopkins, UMMS, Mercy, LifeBridge, St. Agnes, and MedStar—were represented. That signals that our work as a primary care home for 45,000 patients is critical to the success of our main hospitals systems in Maryland.”

“We’re grateful for everyone’s support, and look forward to continuing to partner with other institutions for the benefit of the patients we serve, particularly at our new home in western Baltimore County,” Milanytch added. “This year’s gala was another amazing show of support for the care Chase Brexton’s staff delivers each and every day.”
